Job Description
We are seeking a Licensed Psychiatrist (MDs or DOs) for a flexible, consultative evaluation role to conduct psychiatric assessments for the Department of Disability Services and Social Security . This position is ideal for psychiatrists who enjoy assessment work and want maximum scheduling flexibility without ongoing patient care. This role involves brief, structured evaluations with templated report writing , no treatment , and no case management . Your clinical expertise will directly support disability eligibility determinations.

Highly flexible ; select your working day(s) 6 weeks or earlier in advance Pick the days and sites you work (1-10 days per month available)

In-person Locations:
Multiple sites available in Southern California, including Encinitas, National City, Santa Ana, Menifee, Riverside, and El Centro No administrative duties Receive payment within 24 hours of report submission Responsibilities Conduct in-person psychological evaluations Complete short evaluation reports addressing functional limitations and disability-related questions required for verification Submit reports within 10 days of evaluations to support eligibility determinations Qualifications Psychiatrist (MDs or DO) Active California License Experience evaluating individuals with mental health and/or developmental disabilities Ability to work independently and adhere to structured evaluation guidelines Why This Role?
