About MCTS The Michigan Center for Traumatic Stress (MCTS) is one of Metro Detroit's leading providers of high-quality, trauma-informed mental healthcare. We specialize in treating trauma, complex trauma, and secondary trauma , while also offering comprehensive care for a range of mental health concerns. Our mission is rooted in compassion, clinical excellence, and community. We provide evidence-based, insight-oriented treatment that helps clients heal, grow, and reclaim their lives. Who We're Looking For? We're seeking a passionate, skilled, children's clinician with experience providing psychotherapy and clinical assessment — ideally from a psychodynamic framework and with a deep understanding of trauma and its effects.

Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, or social work Full or limited license in the state of Michigan (LLP, LP, LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, or LLPC) Experience working with children in a therapeutic setting preferred Experience working with trauma or complex trauma populations preferred Training or interest in psychodynamic theory and trauma-informed care preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Why MCTS?
