PRN - Virtual Physician Collaborator (Remote)

Become a part of our caring community We are excited to offer the role of Virtual Physician Collaborator for CenterWell Medical Group, a new virtual care delivery group within CenterWell Senior Primary Care, Humana's Primary Care Organization. This group will provide virtual wraparound services to support patients when they cannot get in with their own PCP - closing gaps in care, ensuring timeless access to important medications and solving urgent clinical needs. This Virtual Physician Collaborator shares in our vision to improve primary care for the next generation of seniors and is eager to support excellent care every day! As the Physician Collaborator, you will focus on the collaborative relationship through our Nurse Practitioners. This is a fully remote role, which involves approximately 5 hours a month. You will report to our Associate Director. Responsibilities You will complete regular chart review and coordinate monthly meetings You will be available as a resource for the advanced practice provider to ensure quality patient care. You will collaborate with clinical leaders about quality of care, review of outcome data, procedure, and records issues. Use your skills to make an impact

Required Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Mississippi. Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university Board certification or Board Eligible 2+ years telemedicine/telehealth experience 2+ years of experience as a Collaborating Physician Knowledge of HEDIS measures and

While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours 1 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
