Salary is negotiable. Overview Join our dynamic mental health team as a Psychiatrist specializing in adult and adolescent care! This vital role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive psychiatric services to diverse patient populations, including children, teenagers, and adults. You will play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and managing mental health conditions through evidence-based practices, medication management, and psychotherapy. Duties Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients across age groups, including those with developmental disabilities and geriatrics. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's needs. Provide medication management and monitor patient responses to optimize treatment outcomes while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Deliver crisis management interventions for patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or PTSD symptoms, ensuring safety and stabilization. Engage in psychotherapy sessions utilizing modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, or addiction counseling to support recovery and resilience. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, facilitate data collection for ongoing evaluation, and ensure seamless patient care transitions between inpatient and outpatient services. Utilize telehealth platforms to extend access to mental health services, especially for underserved populations or those requiring remote consultations. Experience Post-residency experience in psychiatry with a focus on adult and adolescent populations; experience working with children is highly desirable. Proven expertise in pediatric psychiatry, including working with children with developmental disabilities or behavioral health conditions. Hands-on hospital experience in inpatient settings managing acute psychiatric cases and crisis situations. Strong background in outpatient clinic environments with skills in intake assessments, medical records documentation, and medical terminology. Familiarity with addiction counseling, PTSD care, and working with individuals experiencing complex mental health issues such as Geriatric psychiatry or behavioral health disorders. Proficiency in psychopharmacology, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and data collection methods to inform treatment decisions. Experience utilizing telehealth technology for remote patient care delivery while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards.
