Job Description

Position Overview:
Join a dynamic, physician-owned, multidisciplinary team at Pioneer Pulmonology, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, leading the expansion of Interventional Pulmonology services in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Our program features state-of-the-art technology, a dedicated lung nodule clinic, and a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence, innovation, and whole-person care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced diagnostic including EBUS, robotic bronchoscopy, and pleural disease management. Therapeutic bronchoscopies are a welcomed additional service. Lead and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinical program development. Collaborate closely with thoracic surgery, oncology, and critical care teams. Mentor emerging pulmonary specialists and contribute to research and education. Support both inpatient and outpatient pulmonary care, including hybrid roles as needed. Drive quality improvement initiatives and integrate new technologies into clinical practice.
Qualifications:
MD/DO degree; Board Certified/Board Eligible. Fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology preferred. Experience with robotic bronchoscopy and lung nodule management preferred. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.
