08/22/2026 Job Description Brown University Health, the largest healthcare provider in Rhode Island, has an exciting opportunity for a board certified or eligible general urologist to join our academically focused team in Providence or one of our community-based practices in Southeastern Massachusetts. We provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical care to patients with a wide range of urologic disorders. As part of a large, well-supported team you will enjoy a strong source of referrals. Located just under an hour from Boston with easy access to the coast Providence is a wonderful place to practice. This is a team with very low turnover; we are seeking a team player who values a collaborative environment. About the job In Rhode Island you will join 19 other urologists, 4 urologic cancer specialists and 7 experienced advanced practice providers If you prefer to work in Massachusetts, it will be in a non-academic position with a smaller group & greater autonomy Supportive clinical team includes a dedicated MA and RNs as needed The department has 6+ DaVinci robots and full, cooperative relations with interventional radiology 3 to 3 1/2 days clinic, one day OR, 1/2-day clinical admin time Academic appointment to Brown Triaged call in RI (with residents, fellows and APPs taking first call) 3-4 weekends per year and on average 3 weeknights per month About the benefits Base salary $360K-$500K+ depending on experience and rank RVUs with a very reasonable threshold Additional pay for call over what is outlined above 6 weeks PTO Generous CME depending on rank Malpractice with tail coverage 401K with 6% match Excellent health and dental benefits About you Board certified or eligible in Urology About us The urology division uses a multidisciplinary approach to help patients who need everything from routine treatments to the most complex urologic procedures. Our medical and surgical teams take a collaborative approach to treatment, incorporating expert knowledge from research and a range of specialties to ensure that each patient is well-educated before and after their procedures and receives the highest quality of care for the most favorable outcome.
