Develop individualized care plans, conduct examinations, diagnose illnesses, and determine treatment or referrals. Emphasize preventative medicine, utilize diagnostic resources, and provide non-discriminatory care across all patient demographics. Administer immunizations, collaborate with healthcare team members, and maintain confidential documentation of patient encounters. Manage a full patient panel, adhere to productivity standards, and deliver care across various settings, including outpatient and community services. Participate in quality assurance, practice development, and staff activities, while ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and legal standards. Coordinate with administration on strategic plans and cooperate with external agencies as needed. Reporting to the Director of Family Medicine with oversight from the CMO, the physician may supervise support staff indirectly and precept students or mid-level providers. Performance evaluation involves ongoing feedback on productivity, clinical skills, and professionalism. Requirements include graduation from an accredited medical school, completion of a family medicine residency, active South Carolina medical licensure, and board certification or eligibility. Candidates should possess strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills, along with physical ability to perform duties in a moderate noise environment with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Minimal travel is required.
