ABOUT THE ROLE GI
Physician needed for established, high-volume gastroenterology practice in coastal South Carolina. Procedurally-focused role (80% lab, 20% clinic) with excellent case variety, cutting-edge technology, and strong support team in integrated ASC/clinic/hospital setting.
SCOPE OF PRACTICE & VOLUME 20
"25 patients/day in clinic; 11"12 patients/day for procedures 7,000+ endoscopy cases annually 80% Lab, 20% Clinic split
EUS:
236+ cases/year (growing)
ERCP:
187+ cases/year (growing)
NEW:
Capsule Endoscopy service Diagnostic & therapeutic endoscopy, treatment of liver/gallbladder/pancreas disease
CALL & SCHEDULING
Current:
1 in 4 call (8 days/year)
ADVANCING TO 1 IN 6 IN 2026
Consultation services only (no inpatient rounding) Dedicated inpatient NP starting February 2026
Team:
4 MDs + 3 APPs
