ABOUT THE ROLE
Neurology Physician for established practice in coastal South Carolina. Balanced, sustainable outpatient-focused role (80/20) with minimal call burden, protected administrative time, advanced diagnostic capabilities, and excellent work-life balance.
SCHEDULE & CALL
Mon-Thurs 8am"5pm / Friday 8am"12pm 36 patient contact hours + 4 admin hours/week Protected admin time (0.5 days/week)
VERY LIGHT CALL
10 days/month (CMC-based only) Senior physician came in at night only 1x last year while on call Telemedicine and tele-stroke program support Neurologists typically do NOT administer
TPA CLINICAL SCOPE 80
% outpatient / 20% inpatient 18"22 patients/day average (seniors see 25+) General neurology consults, follow-ups, diagnostic testing
PROCEDURES & DIAGNOSTICS
EMG, EEG, nerve conduction studies, Botox injections, lumbar puncture, carotid ultrasound Advanced neuroimaging (MRI, CT, specialized brain scans), sleep studies, cognitive/neuropsychological testing EMG tech onsite; telemedicine for consults
