- Full-time inpatient Gastroenterology Hospitalist opportunity
- Seven-on / Seven-off schedule
- Opportunity created due to continued program growth and increasing patient demand
- Work alongside established outpatient gastroenterology group consisting of:
- 5 Gastroenterologists
- 7 Advanced Practice Providers
- Coverage across two acute care hospitals
- Dedicated inpatient focus with strong specialty support
- Modern healthcare facilities with advanced procedural capabilities
- Epic electronic medical record systemPractice Environment
- Accredited by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) Endoscopy Unit Recognition Program
- Modern endoscopy and hospital facilities
- Cardiac catheterization laboratory onsite
- Critical care units supported by Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians available 24/7
- Strong referral relationships with tertiary academic medical center partners
- Collaborative multidisciplinary care environmentResponsibilities
- Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultations and procedures
- Manage acute gastrointestinal disorders and emergencies
- Collaborate with hospitalists, surgeons, intensivists, and specialty consultants
- Perform endoscopic procedures as appropriate
- Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered careQualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for South Carolina medical licensureCompensation & Benefits
