Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum Years of Experience:
Six Months of Experience Under the Supervision of a Physician in a Clinical Medical Office Setting ———————————————————————————
Certified Medical Assistant Minimum Education :
High School Diploma or Equivalent and has completed one of the following: 1) An accredited medical assisting education program 2) A SC Dept of Education approved Health Sciences program 3) A US military MA program 4) A US Dept of Labor approved Registered Apprenticeship Program in medical assisting 5) A training program that is delivered, in whole or in part, by a health care employer that aligns to a nationally accredited certification exam.
