Job Description

The Department of Neonatology at Monroe Carell Jr. Children s Hospital at Vanderbilt (MCJCHV) seeks a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatrician to provide inpatient and newborn care based primarily at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, with potential clinical support across other Vanderbilt Health affiliated community hospitals in Tullahoma, Gallatin, Clarksville, and Lebanon. We are looking for a highly skilled clinician with a focus on hospital medicine and a special interest in delivery rooms and newborn care. Key Responsibilities Serve as an inpatient pediatric and newborn care provider based primarily at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, with potential coverage across other Vanderbilt Health partner sites in Tullahoma, Gallatin, Clarksville, and Lebanon. Participate in delivery room procedures and newborn care Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinical operations Perform Circumcisions, UVC Placements, and Intubations using LMA Qualifications Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Pediatrics or Pediatric Hospital Medicine Clinical focus on hospital medicine with training in delivery rooms and newborn care. Ability to perform circumcisions, UVC placements, intubations using LMA NRP certified Why Cookeville, Tennessee?
