The facility operates with a structured multidisciplinary team across both day and night shifts to ensure continuity of care for critically ill patients. Locum tenens Physician Associate coverage is sought on a recurring monthly basis to support ongoing clinical operations. About the Facility Location Tennessee offers a range of destinations suited to varied interests, from the scenic Great Smoky Mountains and Appalachian communities to the music-driven cities recognized for their blues, rock and roll, and country heritage. The state features cultural and historical attractions, including notable museums and the Tennessee Aquarium, alongside outdoor experiences and craft and artisan festivals distributed across the state's varied regions. Clinicians on assignment will find accessible options for recreation, culture, and exploration throughout the state. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide critical care coverage during 12-hour day or night shifts at an inpatient facility in Tennessee, with shift assignments determined by local clinical need. Responsibilities include intensive monitoring and management of critically ill patients, along with performance of ICU procedures including central line placement, arterial line placement, and intubation. The multidisciplinary team structure includes 3 MDs and 3 APPs during day shifts and 1 MD and 2 APPs during night shifts to support coordinated patient care. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for consideration.
