No Responsibilities Provide Emergency Medicine coverage Provide care within a Level I Trauma Center Serve as a supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Requirements MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine ABEM candidates only Completion of an approved Emergency Medicine residency program Active unrestricted Tennessee medical license Active DEA with Tennessee address DEA Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4 and 5 ECFMG certification required for foreign medical graduates New graduates accepted Emergency Medicine residency graduates within the past 12 months will be considered Certifications ACLS required ATLS required PALS required if not ABEM certified NRP required for non-ABEM providers Malpractice Coverage $1 million per occurrence $3 million aggregate
