Psychiatrist- Outpatient Only LiveWell Homecare Agency Knoxville, TN Job Details Part-time 5 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Psychiatry Electronic health records (EHR) management DEA License Medical License Full Job Description We are seeking a passionate part-time Psychiatrist to provide mental health care at a VA outpatient clinic, working 2.5 days/week. Diagnose and treat mental/behavioral health conditions, including supervision of mental health staff. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and perform counseling and therapy. Collaborate with healthcare teams and coordinate with external providers. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients. Maintain clinical documentation and ensure compliance with VA and regulatory standards. Participate in outreach and support patient enrollment and retention efforts. Qualifications include MD/DO, board certification in Psychiatry, valid state license, DEA registration, and proficiency in EMR systems. Requires 1-3 years of clinical experience with adult patients, BLS/ACLS certifications, and a strong commitment to patient care.
