Neurology - Critical Care opening in TennesseeMemphis, TennesseeFull timeAbout the PositionA leading regional healthcare system is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible, fellowship-trained Neurocritical Care physicians to join a growing Neurocritical Care program at a major tertiary referral center in Memphis. This opportunity offers the ability to practice high-acuity neurocritical care within a collaborative multidisciplinary team supported by advanced technology, strong specialty partnerships, and a large regional referral network.
Position Highlights Employed Neurocritical Care opportunity within a large multispecialty physician network Join an expanding Neurocritical Care team currently comprised of 2 Neurocritical Care physicians Growing APP support team with ongoing expansion to enhance clinical coverage and work/life balance Practice at a 700+ bed tertiary referral center serving a 25-hospital regional system Dedicated 12-bed Neuro ICU Joint Commission-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center 24/7 thrombectomy and neurosurgical support available Diverse case mix including: Acute ischemic stroke Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) Traumatic brain injury (TBI) Status epilepticus Post-operative neurosurgical patients Minimal trauma burden, with major polytrauma cases managed at the regional Level I Trauma Center Advanced technology including: Continuous EEG monitoring Automated pupillometry Rapid EEG (Ceribell) Close collaboration with Vascular Neurology, Neurosurgery, Interventional Neurology, and Advanced Practice Providers Demonstrated program success with significant improvements in mortality and length-of-stay metrics J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship availableCompensation & Benefits Competitive employed compensation package Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan options Paid malpractice coverage CME allowance and professional development support Relocation assistance available Robust physician benefits packagePractice Environment High-acuity referral-based Neurocritical Care practice Strong multidisciplinary collaboration across neurosciences specialties Opportunity to participate in continued program growth and development Access to advanced neurological and critical care technologies Supportive physician leadership and administrative infrastructureHealth System Highlights One of the largest physician networks in the Mid-South Regional referral center serving a multi-state population Comprehensive neurosciences program with advanced stroke and neurosurgical services Extensive specialty support and tertiary care resources Strong commitment to clinical excellence, physician engagement, and innovationCommunity Highlights - Memphis, TennesseeMemphis offers a unique combination of affordability, culture, entertainment, and family-friendly living.
