Local Team Collaboration:
Join our close-knit team of physicians at Texoma Medical Center. Work alongside clinicians from various backgrounds and experiences. Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools. Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certified/eligible in emergency medicine, OR board certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine with emergency medicine experience. Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas. Authorized to work in the United States. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Scheduling:
Flexible scheduling options are available to support a healthy work-life balance, with 24-hour shifts offered daily, beginning at 7:30 AM.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient-centered care to a Critical access hospital with a 7-bed emergency department, over 11,000 annual visits, and Level IV trauma designation. Foster collaboration and support among team members. Living and Working in
