Job Description

Due to expansion, Legacy Physiatry Group is looking for a Physician Assistant to join a rapidly growing practice that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our patients in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Management in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX and surrounding region. Job Description:
  • Performs a wide range of activities, which include but not limited to: assessment, history & physical, recommendations for patient plan of care
  • Monitors patient progress
  • Maintains patient medical records according to established standards
  • Maintains communication with the supervisory physician(s) and attending physician to review patient records and care plans on a routine basis
  • Ability to collaborate with attending physicians, facility staff members and other agencies as needed to coordinate optimal care and use of resources for the patient/family
  • Effective verbal, written and electronic communication skills
  • Ability to code encounters appropriately and pass periodic coding audits
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently-Interacts as a team member with all levels of clinical staff
  • Mandatory attendance and participation in facility meetings
Qualifications:
  • Experience required in the diagnosis, treatment and management of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation issues in geriatric and/or adult populations required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program and certification approved or recognized by the State of Texas
  • DEA License
ACLS/BLS
certifications Qualifications for
Physician Assistant:
  • Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies
  • Active license, NCCPA, and/or other accredited certification and credentialing in the
State of Texas Job Types:

$53,000.00
