Clinical Research Position Overview We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join as a Clinical Research Physician in a part-time capacity. This role involves serving as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) to support Phase I-IV clinical trials. The physician will oversee protocol compliance, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with sponsors, CROs, and research teams to successfully execute clinical studies. Key Responsibilities Serve as Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) for clinical trials Conduct medical screenings, physical exams, and specialty assessments for study participants Provide clinical oversight and patient care in accordance with study protocols and regulatory standards (ICH-GCP) Monitor and document adverse events (AEs/SAEs) and ensure accurate reporting Collaborate with study coordinators, nurses, and research staff for protocol adherence Maintain accurate documentation in EHR and clinical trial systems (EDC/CTMS) Participate in site initiation visits, monitoring visits, and audits Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, CROs, IRBs, and monitors Contribute to protocol feasibility, study design input, and recruitment strategies Attend investigator meetings and provide subject matter expertise in gastroenterology Stay current with clinical research regulations and advancements in the fieldQualifications Required:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certification in Gastroenterology Active and unrestricted Texas medical license DEA license & BLS/ACLS certification Prior experience in clinical research or clinical trials Must have a own private practice Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical trial platforms (EDC, CTMS) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate: $100 - $250 (based on experience) Flexible, part-time schedule If interested send your resume to (or)Contact:
