Job Description
Children's Hospital in South Texas is seeking a Pediatric Epileptologist to join our collaborative and expanding pediatric neuroscience team. This opportunity offers the ability to build and shape a growing epilepsy program while working alongside strong pediatric subspecialty support in a mission-driven environment focused on long-term program growth and physician collaboration.
The Opportunity:
- Join an established team of child neurologists to focus on pediatric epilepsy.
Note:
Epilepsy fellowship training is required for this position.- Help shape the surgical epilepsy program working alongside a pediatric neurosurgeon
- 4 Clinic days per week plus shared inpatient call including the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
- Due to unmet demand in the community, the incoming physician will step into a ready made practice
- Research and academic affiliation available, but not required
- Modern children's hospital with growing neuroscience infrastructure
The Financial Details:
- Compensation includes a base plus production.
- Recruitment incentives: $35,000 Quality bonus of up to 4
- Paid Time Off - 25 days per year plus 6 paid holidays
- Continuing Medical Education $3,500 per year + 8 days
- Medical malpractice coverage
