In this role, you will provide expert psychiatric care, including medication management and psychotherapy, to diverse patient populations. Your expertise will help patients overcome mental health challenges through innovative treatments such as TMS therapy, while ensuring comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals' lives by delivering evidence-based psychiatric care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for working with children, adults, and geriatrics, with a focus on behavioral health and crisis management. Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients across age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy (including psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy), and TMS therapy when appropriate. Manage medication regimens, monitor patient responses, and adjust prescriptions to optimize outcomes while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Provide crisis intervention and management for patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, especially for those with developmental disabilities or PTSD. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote psychiatric services, ensuring accessibility for all patients. Maintain accurate medical records, document patient progress, and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and medical terminology standards. Qualifications Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry. Post-residency experience in behavioral health, outpatient clinics, or inpatient settings is preferred. Proven expertise in pediatric psychiatry, geriatrics, addiction counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and crisis management protocols. Experience with TMS therapy implementation or interest in expanding expertise in neuromodulation treatments. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical records management, and electronic health record systems. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to perform comprehensive intake assessments and data collection efficiently. Ability to work effectively in telehealth environments while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
