The hospital is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and supporting physicians with strong clinical resources and a collaborative medical staff. Harlingen Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician to join and help grow its pulmonary and critical care service line. This position offers a balanced mix of ICU coverage and pulmonary medicine in a supportive, community-based hospital setting. Practice & Facility Highlights

  • Provide inpatient critical care services, including ICU coverage
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of pulmonary conditions
  • Perform pulmonary and critical care procedures consistent with training
  • Collaborate closely with hospitalists, surgeons, emergency medicine, and specialty teams
  • Participate in call rotation as assigned
  • Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation and compliance with hospital policies and quality standards Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Fellowship training in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary/Critical Care
  • Eligible for or current Texas medical license
  • DEA license or eligibility
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skillsCompensation & Benefits
