Job Description

Inpatient Psychiatrist - Full Time (40 Hours/Week) Kerrville, TX Position Overview We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist for a full-time, on-site opportunity in a residential/inpatient setting. This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care to adult patients, including those with dual diagnoses, in a structured clinical environment. Schedule 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM No on-call requirements Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing patient care Perform face-to-face assessments and develop treatment plans Manage and treat adult patients with mental health and dual diagnoses Respond to emergency situations, including patient restraints when necessary Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical standards Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines Qualifications Licensed Physician in the State of Texas Experience working with adult psychiatric populations Experience with dual diagnosis cases preferred Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Required Certifications & Licensure Active Texas Medical License (in good standing) Active DEA Certification Credentialing with affiliated hospitals (as required) Current CPR certification (American Heart Association approved) Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry
