1 Position Overview This Emergency Medicine opportunity supports coverage across multiple emergency departments in the Laredo area. The provider will work 12 hour shifts within a physician led model with NP and PA coverage support. Site Details Coverage model includes 24 hour physician coverage with 12 hour shifts. NP and PA coverage varies by site, typically 10 to 12 hour shifts. EMR Cerner. Annual volumes vary by site, with locations ranging from approximately 9,000 to 26,000 visits per year. Required Qualifications Active Texas medical license. DEA certification. Board certification in Emergency Medicine.
Certifications required:
ATLS, ACLS, and PALS. Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify. Credentialing and Onboarding Items (must be provided) Current CV with complete work history. Active Texas license verification. Board certification verification. DEA verification.
