Clinic Hours:
8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, seven days a week
Compensation:
$120-$140/hour (based on experience) + bonus

401(k) available for eligible providers Position Summary NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Physician (MD/DO) to join our team in Marble Falls, Texas . This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking flexibility, autonomy, and a supportive urgent care environment while maintaining a manageable schedule. Clinicians at NextCare enjoy true work-life balance , including no after-hours responsibilities, flexible scheduling, and collaborative clinical teams. You'll practice in a fast-paced urgent care setting treating a wide range of low to moderate acuity conditions while supported by experienced staff and accessible medical leadership. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits Order and interpret diagnostic studies including labs and imaging Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values Provide clinical oversight and supervision for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in accordance with Texas regulations Be available for consultation and support of APPs practicing in the clinic network Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Texas MD or DO license Board certified or board eligible (Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred) Active DEA license or ability to obtain Ability to treat patients of all ages Active BLS certification EHR proficiency Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered) Preferred Qualifications Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience Strong procedural skills including suturing, splinting, and wound care Experience with initial X-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read About NextCare NextCare is one of the nation's largest urgent care providers, operating 160+ clinics across 11 states .
