Why Join Us Build a high-demand gastroenterology practice in a community with a significant unmet need and only one current GI provider. You will enjoy the flexibility of practicing in collaboration with a physician-invested ambulatory surgery center located adjacent to the hospital, creating efficiency in scheduling and patient care. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of procedural and clinic time, strong physician collaboration, and the ability to make an immediate impact on the community. Position Highlights Practice located in a medical office building near the hospital campus Typical schedule: clinic from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; OR block times begin at 7:00 AM Practice structure generally includes 3 procedural/OR days and 2 clinic days Call coverage approximately 1:6 with support from general surgery Unassigned emergency department call requirement of 7 days per month Opportunity to collaborate with general surgeons and the current GI physician Physician-invested on-campus ASC with investment opportunities available Equipped with two Olympus GI towers and ERBE Argon technology What We Offer No state income tax in Texas Flexible procedural scheduling between the hospital and adjacent physician-invested ASC Opportunity for ASC investment participation Modern GI procedural equipment and resources Malpractice insurance provided Health, dental, and life insurance 401(k) with employer matching Deferred compensation program Relocation assistance Candidate Requirements BE/BC Residency in the U.S. New graduates and experienced physician's welcome ERCP skills required Active TX medical license or ability to obtain license Why Nacogdoches Nacogdoches blends small-town charm with the amenities needed for a comfortable and rewarding lifestyle.
