Job Summary Why Join Us Join a rapidly growing cardiology program at Nacogdoches Medical Center where you can play a meaningful role in expanding interventional cardiology services across East Texas. This established practice offers a strong cardiovascular foundation, dedicated procedural resources, and the opportunity to help shape future program growth. You will work alongside experienced cardiologists and advanced practice support while building procedural volume in a collaborative environment. The organization is committed to expanding advanced cardiovascular capabilities and investing in long-term success. Position Highlights Employed Interventional Cardiology opportunity with BHS Physician's Network, Inc. Approximately 50% cath lab and 50% clinic/inpatient cardiology mix Dedicated interventional and cath lab time with flexible clinic scheduling Minimum call requirement of 7 days per month Average clinic volume of 25 to 30 patients per day Typical procedural volume of 4 to 6 cases per dedicated procedural day with growth potential Join a team of two interventional cardiologists, one general cardiologist, and one nurse practitioner Hospital privileges at Nacogdoches Medical Center Main Campus and South Campus Opportunity to help expand advanced interventional cardiology services and procedural capabilities in the region What We Offer Established cardiology clinic with dedicated clinical and procedural space Nurse practitioner support integrated into the practice Advanced cardiovascular diagnostic and procedural equipment Visa sponsorship consideration available for the right candidate Malpractice insurance provided Health, dental, and life insurance 401(k) with employer matching Deferred compensation program Relocation assistance No state income tax in Texas Candidate Requirements Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology Residency training completed in the U.S. Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology required Excellent clinical and communication skills Ability to obtain a Texas medical license and satisfy hospital and payer credentialing requirements Experience with coronary intervention, STEMI management, complex PCI, and development of interventional cardiology programs preferred Why Nacogdoches Known as the oldest town in Texas, Nacogdoches offers a welcoming community, a low cost of living, and the charm of East Texas living.
