Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) WellMed Medical Group - San Antonio, TX (Medical Center) WellMed is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our clinic in San Antonio's Medical Center. This is an opportunity to practice high-quality, patient-centered medicine in a setting designed to support both clinical excellence and provider satisfaction. In this role, you will care for a primarily Medicare Advantage population within a value-based care model that prioritizes outcomes over volume. Physicians typically see 14 to 16 patients per day, allowing for more meaningful patient interactions and a focus on whole-person care. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary care team to address each patient's physical, behavioral, and social health needs. Qualifications MD or DO Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start) Active DEA license (or ability to obtain) Preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience in or interest in value-based or managed care environments
