Job Description

University Health / University Medicine Associates is presently seeking a dynamic child psychologist to help expand the service line and increase access to care. The pediatric population in San Antonio is growing and there is great demand for these services within the community. This is an opportunity to work alongside the current board-certified pediatric developmental pediatrician with more than 25 years of experience in the field.
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a doctorate in psychology, and one year of supervised postdoctoral experience in clinical child psychology; or an equivalent combination of education and experience treating child mental health disorders. Comprehensive knowledge of psychological testing and evaluation techniques in children. Previous participation in pediatric interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary teams. Skilled at communicating effectively with parents of children who have developmental disabilities. Experience with empirically supported therapies to treat a range of child mental health disorders (e.g., anxiety disorder) and neurobehavioral disorders (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, pediatric feeding disorder).
