WORKING AT AHP
To us, this is not just a job; it's the health of our community. As a pediatrician, you will be responsible for monitoring the health, growth, and development of your patients. We thrive to foster a long-term relationship built on trust with our patients and their families. Your duties include, but are not limited to: Guides patients and caregivers on illness and injury prevention and promotes lifelong health practices Establishes treatment plans Provide referrals to specialists Conducts medical examinations Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries Communicate with patients and their parents and caregivers Maintain Medical Records
JOB DETAILS
This person will be working 2.5 - 3 days per week. This person will be in an equal call rotation with other employed pediatricians This person will be in an equal weekend clinic rotation with other employed pediatricians

Medical Degree with specialization in pediatrics Board-certified or board-eligible Valid license to practice medicine Not under investigation by a medical board In-depth knowledge with traditional and web-based prescription systems
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Outstanding diagnostic and problem-solving abilities Emotional awareness and sensitivity to patients' needs Active listener, patient and calm Excellent communications skills Employs the practices of collaboration and teamwork
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This job will require exposure to patient elements. Works near others, usually within a few feet. May work in a noisy or distracting environment. This role routinely uses standard office and medical equipment. Certain vaccinations are required of all clinic staff.
COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS
If requested by any patient, then staff is required to wear a surgical mask. Patients are strongly encouraged to wear a mask if they are experiencing any acute respiratory symptoms or have a fever. Employees who are not flu-vaccinated will be required to wear a mask in all patient facing areas from September 1 to March 1st unless dates are modified due to clinical factors (unusual epidemic patterns, etc).
