Job Description

Are you a board-certified Physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation seeking a locum tenens opportunity in Texas? We are currently looking for a skilled provider to join a reputable inpatient facility in the vicinity of Pittsburg, Texas. This role offers an excellent chance to provide specialized patient care, with the flexibility of temporary privileges and no requirements for outpatient work.

Inpatient only; no outpatient work required
Shift Type :
Scheduled clinical hours only Electronic Medical Records (EMR) : EPIC system
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and round on assigned patients within a 49-bed department Anticipated patient load: approximately 22 patients per shift Requires admission duties; hospital privileges are not mandatory Supervise support staff, including 3 RNs and 1 PA/NP Participate in specialized procedures such as: Arthrocentesis Trigger point injections Diagnostic/therapeutic taps Pain management (acute and chronic, excluding injections) EMG and nerve conduction studies

Required License :
Must be licensed in Texas or through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)

Estimated to take one week, with temporary privileges available for quick onboarding
