Physician -OB Hospitalist Job Details:
- Work as an OB Hospitalist providing comprehensive obstetric care to patients
- Hospital can provide expedited privileges for candidates with clean files
- Cover labor and delivery unit, managing both routine and high-risk deliveries
- Respond to obstetrical emergencies and provide stabilizing care
- Collaborate with nursing staff and community obstetricians
- Manage patients in triage and provide consultation services as needed
- Perform cesarean sections and other obstetrical procedures as required
- Ensure continuous coverage and care for laboring patients
- Support and assist with complicated deliveries when needed
- Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Follow hospital protocols and evidence-based practice guidelines
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately
