Locum Tenens:

Hospitalist Physician Needed (Near Smiley, TX) Are you a dedicated and experienced Hospitalist Physician seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a growing community near Smiley, TX? We're actively searching for skilled physicians to join our team and provide vital hospitalist care on a flexible schedule (ASAP - Ongoing). This locum tenens position offers a temporary assignment with the possibility of extending for up to three months. You'll have the opportunity to contribute significantly to exceptional patient care while managing your workload effectively. We welcome applications from Texas state-licensed physicians only.

Embrace a dynamic schedule with the ability to work days, nights, and weekends (12-hour shifts with rotating call). We offer the flexibility to work up to 7 consecutive shifts, ideally for 2 consecutive weeks per month, allowing you to customize your workload. Streamlined Credentialing Process (for qualified candidates): We understand the importance of timely care and will work diligently to facilitate temporary privileges for qualified applicants with a clean history.

Utilize your expertise in managing the care of hospitalized patients across a variety of medical conditions.

Qualifications:

Board-certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM) is mandatory. Active medical license and DEA registration in Texas (TX) only are required. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an inpatient hospital setting is preferred. The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
