Job Description
Our client is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 90-day assignment in Texas, starting Jul 27, 2026. This role involves managing a variety of medical complaints, including chest pain, abdominal pain, and shortness of breath, alongside basic trauma cases such as falls and sports injuries. Shifts are structured as either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM, requiring proficiency in procedures such as intubation, procedural sedation, fracture reduction, and suture repair. Responsibilities and Duties Evaluate and treat common medical complaints, including chest pain, abdominal pain, and shortness of breath. Manage basic trauma cases, such as those resulting from falls, motor vehicle collisions, and sports injuries. Perform essential emergency procedures including intubation, procedural sedation, fracture reduction and splinting, chest tube insertion, CPR, suture repair, incision and drainage, and central line placement. Address less frequent severe or penetrating trauma as needed.
