Our client in Texas is actively seeking an Advanced Gastroenterologist for a 7-day assignment beginning Oct 15, 2026. This role involves a 24-hour call schedule from 7 AM to 7 AM, where the Physician will primarily perform scheduled colonoscopies, manage inpatient consults from the previous night, and handle a variety of complex gastrointestinal procedures including small bowel biopsies, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, flexible and rigid colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and liver biopsies. Responsibilities and Duties Perform scheduled colonoscopies. Visit and manage inpatient consults. Conduct small bowel biopsies. Perform lower GI endoscopy. Conduct sigmoidoscopy, both flexible and rigid. Perform colonoscopy, including procedures with biopsy or excision of polyps. Execute endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). Perform liver biopsies.
