Job Description
Oculus Pathology is seeking an experienced Anatomic Pathology Manager to lead and coordinate laboratory operations across Histology, Cytology, Molecular, and Grossing. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for quality, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and team performance. What You'll Do Lead daily operations across Anatomic Pathology laboratory departments. Provide leadership and support to laboratory supervisors and technical staff. Oversee hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management. Monitor workflow, staffing, quality, and turnaround times to ensure efficient operations. Maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Management programs and documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements, including CAP and CLIA. Partner with pathologists, medical directors, and senior leadership on operational initiatives. Support laboratory information systems, instrumentation, workflow improvements, and equipment planning. Promote accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellent customer service. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree or higher in Laboratory Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or another life science, with applicable medical technology education, or education meeting CLIA requirements for high-complexity testing . Current ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist, Histotechnician, or Cytotechnologist. 5+ years of clinical laboratory experience , including at least 3 years of supervisory experience . Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, pathology, quality systems, and regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with pathologists, physicians, employees, and other healthcare professionals. Why Oculus? Pay:
