Hospital-employed (or aligned private practice) About Knapp Medical Center Knapp Medical Center is a full-service acute care hospital serving the Rio Grande Valley. The hospital is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting physicians with modern facilities and a collaborative medical staff. Position Overview Knapp Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join and expand its orthopedic service line. This opportunity offers strong surgical volume, an established referral base, and the chance to practice in a growing community. Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions
- Perform orthopedic surgical and non-surgical procedures consistent with training and expertise
- Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care
- Collaborate with emergency medicine, primary care physicians, and specialty providers
- Participate in call coverage as assigned
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Eligible for or active Texas medical license
- DEA license or eligibility
