Job Description

Are you a skilled Cardiovascular Surgeon with a Utah license, looking for locum tenens work in a scenic and welcoming community? We have an exciting opportunity for call coverage near Richmond, Utah. This is a perfect opportunity for those who prefer short-term engagements in a supportive, close-knit clinical environment.

Locum Tenens Cardiovascular Surgeon Location:
Northern Utah (near Richmond, UT)

Specific dates only see below for details
Coverage Type:
Call coverage only; no clinic work required
Shift:
24-hour call coverage
Daily Patient Volume:
Approximately 5 patients
Annual Heart Cases:
Facility manages around 80 heart cases per year (pre-COVID volumes were 110) Scheduled Coverage Dates November 25 to December 1, 2024 December 30, 2024 to January 7, 2025 Please ensure availability for these dates if applying, as this role is strictly for the specified timeframes.
Requirements Licensing:
Must hold an active Utah medical license and Utah DEA registration
Board Certification:
Physician must be Board Certified and Board Eligible in
Cardiovascular Surgery Experience:
Preference for candidates with recent experience in high-volume cardiovascular procedures
Support and Facility Information Support Staff:
Includes one Advanced Practice Provider (APP), one Medical Assistant (MA), one Medical Office Specialist (MOS), and one Registered Nurse (RN) Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
System:
