12 hour shifts. Day shift 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Night shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. 7 on and 7 off. Position Overview Locum tenens Emergency Medicine coverage in a hospital setting Supervising physician responsibilities for
NPs and PAs EMR:
Epic Site Details Acute care beds: 53, including 5 ICU or PCU acuity adjusted beds Staffing model: Days 1 physician. Nights 1 physician with tele support for admissions and floor call. Required Qualifications MD or DO Residency completed in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine Active unrestricted Virginia medical license DEA with Virginia address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, 5 Board certification accepted: ABEM, AOBEM, or ABMS in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine If not board certified in Emergency Medicine or Emergency Medicine trained:
ACLS, ATLS, PALS
required NRP required for non ABEM providers Case logs for the last 2 years Credentialing Credentialing timeframe: 61 to 90 days
