Job Description Cardiology Physician Opportunity - Culpeper, Virginia UVA Cardiology is seeking a General Cardiologist to join a well-established, community-focused practice within Culpeper Medical Center. Opportunity Overview This position offers a balanced mix of outpatient general cardiology, diagnostic interpretation, and shared inpatient responsibilities. Practice & Team Environment The cardiologist will join a collegial team of experienced cardiologists and Advanced Practice Providers, supported by dedicated nursing staff, medical assistants, front-desk personnel, and clinic administrators. There is a culture of "Yes," with a strong commitment to partnering with providers to establish the optimal patient-provider experience Experienced clinical and administrative support teams Community-based organization committed to serving with a growing medical group and strong backing of an academic medical center Highly competitive benefits package Competitive salary and incentives Access to teaching conferences, grand rounds, and other CME related activities Generous time off and CME policies Clinical Responsibilities Outpatient general cardiology clinics in Culpeper Interpretation of echocardiograms and EKGs Hospital-based cardiology call coverage at Culpeper Medical Center Shared inpatient responsibilities with physician partners Call coverage is shared and distributed among providers Technology & Ancillary Services Echocardiography Vascular studies Stress testing Nuclear medicine Candidate Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology Interest in community-based cardiology Collaborative, team-oriented approach to care Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care The base compensation range for this role is $486,286 - $663,569 for a 1.0 clinical FTE status. Individual compensation will be determined by fair market value and the selected candidate's qualifications, clinical experience, specialty training, credentials, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs, such as productivity, quality, non-productivity, or other incentives that may be available for eligible positions.
