This gastroenterology practice provides comprehensive digestive health services to the Fredericksburg community. The facility offers a professional outpatient environment with modern equipment and technology to support advanced gastroenterological procedures and patient care.Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine -Gastroenterology Job Details:
- Outpatient shift schedule Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm
- Long-term locum tenens position
- Upper GI endoscopy with various techniques including biopsy, foreign body removal, and cautery procedures
- ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) both diagnostic and therapeutic
- PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) procedures
- Esophageal dilatation and manometry with interpretation capabilities
- Small bowel biopsy procedures
- Lower GI endoscopy including flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy
- Start date September 1, 2026 with ongoing coverage needs
