Qualifications MD or DO Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine Residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Eligible for Virginia Medical Licensure Current BLS Certification Experienced physicians preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply Position Highlights Full-time employed position 100% outpatient practice Established adult patient panel Located on a medical center campus Collaborative team of 7 experienced Internal Medicine physicians Strong administrative and clinical support Optional telehealth opportunities Academic and leadership development opportunities Clinical Responsibilities Adult primary care (18+) Preventive care and wellness visits Medicare Annual Wellness Exams Chronic disease management Acute illness evaluation and treatment Hospital follow-up visits Preoperative evaluations Health screenings and preventive medicine Optional women's health services including pelvic exams and Pap smears Telehealth visits as appropriate

Schedule & Call Monday-Friday Hours:

8:00 AM

• 5:00 PM Average patient volume: 18-22 Patients Per Day Shared call coverage among 8 physicians Call schedule: Every 4-7 days Rotating weekends Weekday call: 5:00 PM
• 7:00 AM Weekend call: Friday 5:00 PM
• Sunday 6:00 PM Urgent issues only No controlled substance refills No routine medication refills
