The Opportunity Seeking Hospitalist physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Current national certification and DEA required. Current VA state license is a plus. Previous hospitalist/inpatient experience is preferred. 10-hour day shifts with rounding OR admitting responsibilities Rounding shifts are in Observation Unit or Inpatient units 1 out of 3 weekends The Practice Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center - Midlothian, Virginia 180-bed hospital. Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center, and STEMI Receiving Center. Annual hospitalist service volume of 12,000 with an average of 20 admits per day and 10 admits per night. No procedures required unless desired. Onsite labs and imaging. Variety of sub-specialty backup available including anesthesia, cardiology/EP, infectious disease, Heme/Onc, and more. State of the art facility with recent bed expansion and renovation.
