Job Description
Urologist Bon Secours Southside Urology Southside Regional Medical Center - Petersburg, VA Join a mission-driven, community-focused health system providing comprehensive urologic care across the Southside region. Opportunity Highlights Established urology practice at a 300-bed regional medical center Balanced practice: outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, and surgery Robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical opportunities 1:4 shared call schedule with collegial physician support Dedicated clinical and administrative support (1:1 support model) Collaborative care model across a multi-specialty network Practice Details Full-time (1.0 FTE) position Clinic schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mix of clinical (clinic) and surgical responsibilities Perform a broad range of urologic procedures including: Kidney, bladder, and prostate surgeries Minimally invasive and robotic procedures Average 18-20 patients per day Participate in inpatient consults, hospital rounding, and emergency coverage Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited institution Completion of an ACGME-accredited Urology residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology Eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical licensure Why Bon Secours Southside Regional Medical Center Mission-driven organization committed to compassionate, high-quality care Serve a diverse adult and geriatric patient population Access to a growing regional network with multiple outpatient centers and specialties Culture centered on respect, collaboration, and patient-centered care
