What You Need Required:

MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school Board certification in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Medicine Unrestricted medical license, DEA certification, BLS certification U.S. citizenship At least 1 year of recent family practice experience Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

Experience in military or federal healthcare settings Additional certifications in emergency medicine or related fields Bilingual abilities or additional language skills Experience in supervising or teaching medical staff About the Assignment This full-time role involves working at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and its associated Branch Health and Tricare Prime Clinics. The physician will deliver essential primary care services within a Military Health System environment, serving active duty service members and their families.
