Competitive + Full Benefits Join Our Team A prestigious nursing home facitlity is seeking a dedicated Physician (MD/DO) to serve as primary/attending provider for residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys building long-term patient relationships in a supportive, collaborative environment with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule. What You'll Do- Provide on-site primary care to residents, serving as their attending physician
- Perform assessments, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
- Direct and collaborate with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary care team
- Conduct regular rounding and respond to changes in resident condition
- Educate residents and families on treatment plans Qualifications
- Active Vermont MD/DO license
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred
- Minimum 6 months of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) experience (Preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
