Job Description

Position Summary Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center is seeking an APP (APRN or PA) with advanced Inflammatory Bowel Disease training to join the Gastroenterology Clinic within the General Surgery Department. The role includes; Diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders and conditions, and endoscopic procedures inclusive of colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and PEG tube placement. Qualifications Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology . Eligible to obtain a State of Vermont Medical License . Eligible to obtain federal DEA registration. Knowledge of and experience with clinical trials in IBD, telemedicine, and building population management tools. Desire to also see general gastroenterology patients in the clinic, and endoscopy setting. Desire to work as a GI Hospitalist and/or GI Virtualist (telemedicine inpatient consults) 1-2 weeks per month.
