The facility maintains established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery to support consistent care across all assigned coverage periods. Clinical workflows are structured to address the primary and chronic care needs of the patient population served. About the Facility Location Washington state offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and urban attractions suited to varied interests. The region features opportunities for hiking, nature exploration, coastal activities, and scenic drives, along with walkable town centers offering independent shops and dining. Regional parks, natural areas, and recreational destinations are accessible as day trips, providing a range of options during time away from assignment. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to an adult patient population at an on-site correctional facility in Washington, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a four 10-hour shift schedule also under consideration. The expected caseload is 8-16 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing injury management, acute illness treatment, follow-up visits, physicals, complicated chronic care management, urgent care, and minor procedures within a structured correctional environment. Required credentials include Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board eligibility or certification, BLS, a Washington state license, DEA registration, COVID vaccination, and prescriptive authority. Credentialing for this position is estimated at 1-2 weeks, and no call coverage is required.
