A locum tenens psychiatrist is sought for coverage in October 2026 to meet the clinical needs of the population served. About the Facility Location Seattle offers a range of outdoor and recreational attractions suited to diverse interests. Visitors may explore Gas Works Park, a nearly 20-acre public park on the north side of Lake Union, and Snoqualmie Falls, a 270-foot waterfall situated in the Cascade Range approximately 30 miles from the city. The area also features distinctive landmarks including the Fremont Troll, Seattle Underground, and the original Starbucks location near Pike Place Market, as well as seasonal farm activities and a waterfront providing a full day of family-friendly activities. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services for adult forensic patients, working Monday - Friday during day shifts, totaling 40 hours per week on-site. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and managing medications for an adult forensic population, with a census of 6-7 patients per day and an average length of stay of 90 or more days. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Prescriptive authority and board certification are required for all clinicians considered for this position.
