Job Description

Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice (Near Rural WA Community) Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in a rural setting? Are you a Family Physician seeking a locum tenens opportunity to make a real difference? We are seeking a qualified and experienced Physician to join our team and provide high-quality care in a dynamic outpatient clinic near a rural community. This is a locum tenens position with a start date as soon as credentialing is complete and a contract length of 3 months, with the possibility to extend.
What We Offer:
Schedule:
Full-time Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week) with an unpaid lunch break.
Patient Care:
You will see up to 21 patients per day, potentially more depending on cancellations. We are looking for a physician comfortable with a high-volume environment and experience working with all ages, from newborns to geriatrics.
Support System:
Each provider has a dedicated medical assistant, with access to receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and on-site pediatricians. A local healthcare administrator will handle your timecards.
Patient Population:
We serve a diverse community, including migrants and refugees. Interpretive services are available on-site. While fluency in Spanish is a requirement, additional languages are a plus.
Technology:
We utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Procedures:
You will perform basic procedures like injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.
Travel & Compensation:

Qualifications:
Board certification in Family Medicine (BC) or Osteopathic Family Medicine (BE) Active WA medical license required Active WA DEA license required Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Family Physician with recent patient care experience Clean background check and no malpractice history Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system is mandatory Fluency in Spanish is a requirement BLS, ACLS, or other relevant certifications preferred (details to be discussed during credentialing) Ability to integrate quickly with a 1-week orientation and begin seeing patients by day 3 Experience working with vulnerable populations and a passion for rural healthcare are highly valued
